Sample 1A: ginger & cacao nibs
to about 150ml vodka
- add a medium button of ginger, chopped into chunks
- add about 1/4 cup of raw cacao nibs
to about 100ml vodka
- add 3 thai chili peppers, sliced along on side
Leave in kitchen in dark cupboard at room temperature.

Sample 1A -
Sample has distinct brownish tint. Nice ginger flavor plus an earthy cacao. A winner! Will leave it a bit longer.
Sample 1B -
Very slight warm hue. Tastes very spicy with a fresh, cheerful, wake-you-up slap. For mixing only. Added 1 medium lemongrass bottom, chopped.

Sample 1A -
This one has perhaps infused too long. The ginger flavor doesn't seem as sharp and the cacao more earthy. Still good, though.
Sample 1B -
So spicy! But good. The lemongrass isn't a distinct flavor, but seems to fill out the flavor at the end - it tastes more rounded and less thin.
